Busy, busy, busy!

While all might appear quiet on a public front, behind the scenes has remained very busy with our Committee members organising to meet a range of different organisations and fine tuning our different proposals.

At present we are predominantly focussed upon our Butterwell Branch project, and this is the main topic of discussions with the range of stakeholders involved. We are currently looking into a change to our Butterwell proposal which hopefully might improve the overall viability of the project and secure a longer term future.

For now that’s all the information that we can give, but in other news, the Stephenson Locomotive Society in Newcastle is holding a talk about the railway:
